Tony Birch

Tony Birch is the recipient of the 2017 Patrick White Literary Award. He is the author of The White Girl (2019), Ghost River (2015), which won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Indigenous Writing and Blood (2011), which was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award. Tony also authored Shadowboxing (2006) and three short story collections – Father’s Day, The Promise and Common People – and is a frequent contributor to ABC local and national radio.
