Tim Bonyhady

Professor Tim Bonyhady is one of Australia’s foremost environmental and cultural historians. His many books include the award-winning The Colonial Earth (2000), Places Worth Keeping: Conservationists, Politics and Law (1993), Burke and Wills: From Melbourne to Myth (1991), and Images in Opposition: Australian Landscape Painting 1801-1890 (1985). His latest book is The Enchantment of the Long-haired Rat: A Rodent History of Australia (2019).
