Subhash Jaireth was born in India. He spent nine years in Russia studying geology and Russian literature before migrating to Australia in 1986. He has published poetry and fiction in Hindi, English and Russian and his novel After Love was published in Spain in 2018. His book of essays, Spinoza’s Overcoat: Travels with Writers and Poets, was released in 2020.
