Norman Swan

Norman Swan has hosted RN’s Health Report since its inception in 1975 and since the COVID-19 pandemic, co-hosted Coronacast, a daily podcast. He trained in medicine and paediatrics in Aberdeen, London and Sydney before joining the ABC as a medically qualified journalist. Norman is also a reporter and commentator on the ABC’s 7.30, Midday, News Breakfast and Four Corners and a guest host on RN Breakfast. He has won three Walkley National Awards including the Gold Walkley, and Australia’s top prize for Science Journalism, the Michael Daly Award, twice.

His book, So You Think You Know What’s Good For You (Hachette) was in the bestseller list for many weeks in 2021.
