Bryan Walpert

Bryan Walpert is the author of nine books of poetry, fiction and criticism, most recently the novel Entanglement (Mākaro Press), named a best book of 2021 in the New Zealand Listener; Late Sonata (Brio Books), winner of the 2020 Seizure Viva La Novella prize and Brass Band to Follow (Otago University Press), included in the top 10 poetry collections of 2021 by the New Zealand Listener. His poems, stories or essays have appeared in journals or anthologies in the U.S., UK, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
