Ticket Conditions

1. The program may be amended at any time without notice.

2. Once purchased, tickets shall not be refunded or exchanged with the exception of -Where a ticket holder cannot attend as they are self-isolating awaiting the result of a COVID-19 PCR test or required to isolate by applicable government regulations: Requests can be made by emailing info@melbournejewishbookweek.com.au. Proof that a test has been taken or that isolation is required must be provided and submitted between 24 hours and 4 hours before the event to be eligible for a refund.In the unlikely event that MJBW2022 is cancelled, rescheduled and/or relocated, the full value of the ticket(s), shall be refunded

3. Participation in the event and entry to the event site is at your own risk.

4. No commercial activity may be conducted and no written material or goods of any description handed out or otherwise distributed at the Festival site without the express permission of the event organisers.

5. No photograph or audio or video recording may be taken at the event site without the express permission of the event organisers.

6. You must present a ticket at each event session, including free sessions.

7. Where concession rates apply ID is required on entry. 

8. All ticketholders are required to adhere to the venue and government COVID 19 requirements applicable at the time of the event including but not limited to vaccination.

9. MJBW has implemented digital ticketing. Tickets will be available for advanced purchase online. Subject to availability tickets can be purchased online up until the event. Please present your ticket on entry by either displaying your digital ticket on your phone or presenting a printed copy of your ticket

Your safety

We are closely monitoring the unfolding coronavirus situation, and are committed to ensuring a safe space for all.  To this end we will be following Victorian Government directions and venue requirements, practicing good hygiene, keeping attendance records and responding quickly as required. We will review and update our COVID -19 safety plans when Victorian Government directions or public health advice changes.

By purchasing a Ticket, or attending our Events, you warrant that all tickeholders/attendees:

  • have been fully vaccinated and can provide a vaccine certificate if requested; and
  • that each ticket holder/attendee will not attend if they have COVID-19, or are awaiting test results for COVID-19, or otherwise have reason to suspect that they have contracted COVID-19; and have not been directed to quarantine or self-isolate by a government representative or medical personnel or are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
